Sonali Bendre Biography

Sonali Sonali Bendre was born on 1st January 1975 in Mumbai, India.

She did her schooling at the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bangalore and Holy Cross High School in
Mumbai. She is married to the film-maker Goldie Behl. They’ve been married since 2002
and had a son Ranvir in 2005.Sonali Bendre worked as a model. She won the Star Dust
Talent Search and made a transition into movies.

Sonali Bendre’s Movies 1994 to 1999 Sonali Bendre’s first movie was Aag (1994) with Govinda
and Shilpa Shetty. In Mani Rathnam’s Bombay (1995) she was seen in a song sequence. Many
of her movies failed whileothers did moderately well like Rakshak (1996), Diljale (1996),
Duplicate (1998) and the critically acclaimedZakhm (1999).

She also worked in Tamil movies
like Kadhalar Dhinam (1999) and Kannodu Kanbathellam (1999). 2000 to 2009 In Hamara
Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000), she played the role of Khushi who is in love with Anil Kapoor’s character.
It was followed by the comedy Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega(2001). After another appearance
in a song in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lajja (2001), she worked in Telugu movies like Indra (2002) and
Shankardada MBBS (2004). She was seen in a cameo as a doctor in themajor hit Kal Ho Naa Ho
(2003). In recent times, Sonali Bendre is seen more on television than movies.

She hosted Kya Masti Kya Dhoom and was a judge on Mr & Ms TV and on Indian Idol 4.
